Pretty Little Liars Jewelry

If anyone knows me, they'll know I'm obsessed with Pretty Little Liars. It's probably my favourite TV show that I've been watching for a while and I'm absolutely 100% hooked. So I was being a total fan girl and looking at the ABC family website and watching the clips for the summer finale episode, when I saw a link on the page that said 'Pretty Little Liars Jewelry'. Needless to say I clicked on the link and it took me to the website where Heather Belle has done a PLL inspired jewelry collection. There are some really cool pieces and I've definitely picked out a few favourites.
I think my favorites are the 'forget ring', the 'forget me not bangle set', the 'tye dye purple bracelet wrap' and the 'good girls don't kiss and tell cuff'. I really want to purchase some things, and I even want to get my friend something too. The prices of the jewelry itself are very reasonable, it's just the shipping costs that scare me. You can check out the collection on Heather Belles Website

Is there any other Pretty Little Liars fans out there? What's your favourite piece, let me know!

Friday inspiration!

It's Friday, and it's raining outside. Here's just a few snapshots of what's inspiring me this week.
Tonight I am going to a friends house where a bunch of people are coming over and we're going to watch all the Scream movies. I'm not much of a scary movie fan, so we'll see how that goes. Then tomorrow night I'm going out for a friends birthday, I need to find an outfit.

What are you up to this weekend? xo

C'mon little girl, feet twirl

a quick little update, there will be more posts coming soon hopefully even a 'get the look' and some other new things. I know we haven't done OOTD in a while but I'm sure we'll do some of them too. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all our new followers and of course our old ones. Thank-you for commenting on our posts and supporting us.

Now enough of the sappy stuff, here are two pairs of shoes I bought this week at Target. I have a real problem with making decisions. I obviously couldn't decide between the black or the pink so naturally I had to get both. I think they're so adorable and I've been wanting/needing some new flats. The best part is that they were only $20 each, the worst part is elastic hurts the back of my feet and I didn't have bandaids. I still love them nonetheless.
Is there any specific things you'd like to see more of on our blog? Let us know in a comment below!

Lust Have It!

This week I received my first Lust Have It sample box. Basically it is a monthly subscription which only costs $14.95 including shipping if you live in Australia. We did a post on it a little while back so it has more info if you'd like to read it here! This is the first ever Lust Have It box and we were lucky enough to be sent our first one complimentary from Nicci the creator behind the boxes. I was very impressed with the five items that were in the first box. I am yet to test out all of the products as I only got it last Wednesday, but the products I have tried have been really great.
Here is what was in the very first Lust Have It box....

The brands in the first box include, Burts Bees, Armani, Naked Tan, Mirenesse, Bio Effect, and Dermalogica. I think the part both Katelyn and I really liked about the boxes were that the products weren't tiny little packets of samples. They were either a full or travel size amount of the product, which ultimately gives you more of an idea of how the product is because you get more than one use out of it.

Out of everything I am mostly looking forward to trying out the Bio Effect EGF Serum & the Naked Tan because it smells amazing. So far I have used the Mirenesse lipgloss & the Dermalogica exfoliant which I loved. The lipgloss is such a nice shade and it makes my lips look really plump without the burning feeling of most other plumpers I have.

Let me know if you would like to see a review on a particular product from my Lust Have It box and I will do that once I have have finished the sample.

If you live in Australia and would like to try out Lust Have It go to Lust Have It. You can get a monthly or yearly subscription, which I highly recommend. I am really excited to get my next months box.

Did anyone else get a Lust Have It box?

Style Icon #4

So I know it's been forever since I've done one of these, but the person who I've chosen for #4 has been wearing some really gorgeous outfits lately and every time I see her in a magazine I stop and look what she's wearing. It is Emma Stone.

I know the photos are smallish but I wanted them all to fit because she has the most amazing outfits (You can click the picture to enlarge and get a better look). I am in love with the very first look, the pale mint dress by Preen looks fantastic with her bonde hair and I love that she's wearing a pop of bright pink lipstick so it doesn't wash her out. I have to say I love Emma with blonde hair I think it really suits her pale skin.

The next outfit which I am in love with, is the Anna Sui peter pan collar dress (bottom left first pic). I think she pulled it off perfectly. I like how she went with basic black pumps, very simple hair and makeup to let the dress do all the talking.

The last outfit I wanted to draw attention to is top row, 4th from the left. This Chanel beaded cocktail dress is so gorgeous. There is a real sixties vibe to this look with her volumised hair and front fringe. I think this is one of my favourite looks I've seen her in, actually a little obsessed really.

I know there is so many great outfits but I would be here all day writing about every single outfit she is wearing. I think Emma Stone not only looks good all the time, but she seems pretty down to earth and she's always really funny in the interviews I've seen of her.

What is your favourite outfit of hers?

New Elf Purchases

So awhile back I bought two items from Nonpareil Boutique, nothing to amazing just an E.L.F Blush in Peachy Keen and a set of E.L.F Studio brushes. This is just a quick post to show you what I got.

The best thing about these brushes is that they're so soft and lovely, I like that they're all black too. The set even came with a little booklet that has a description and use for every brush. I also really like the blush, I did want Candid Coral but it was sold out so I got peachy keen instead. As you can see it doesn't show up that well on my skin tone but it will probably look nice as a highlighter or even mixed with another blush. Overall I was pretty happy with everything and the service I received, even though I thought shipping prices were a little too much.

Has anyone else used E.L.F brushes?

Review: Australis Eyeshadow Primer

So it's been a little while since I've done a review on anything, in that time I've bought a lot of stuff which I really want to do reviews on so I will hopefully get around to that soon. This review is on a new product that I picked up at target for $12.95 which isn't that expensive so I was happy to try it out. The product is 'Australis Eyeshadow Primer'. I've wanted an eye primer for ages now, and after using my sisters Urban Decay one I could really see the difference they make. Unfortunately there is nowhere to buy Urban Decay where I live so I've been looking for one that is affordable and accessible.

Here's what Australis Says:
Primer made specifically for eyelids to extend the wear of eyeshadow colour. It is an oil controlling formula with silica and eye shadow magnets, providing heavy-duty staying power that's gentle on the eye area.

Here's what I say:
Packaging: The primer comes in really cute packaging it's a metallic pink and black, which looks nice and sleek, it's also pretty lightweight which is also good if you need to carry it around in your bag. I also love the shape of it, and I'm sorry my photos don't do it justice but if you see it in real life you'll understand what I mean - two thumbs up for the packaging.

Application: The applicator for the primer is one of those sponges that you often find in lipgloss, it goes on nice and smooth and the colour is pretty much transparent when on and blends in really nicely for a smooth finish.

Does it work: I found that it worked okay, the best thing about it was the way it made my eyeliner stay dark all day, as it usually just comes off. Eyeshadow wise I don't think it made a huge difference but in saying that I didn't have a huge amount of elaborate eyeshadow on that day. I will definitely be using it again with maybe a smokey eye and see if it makes any difference to the staying power of the eyeshadow.  But for now I'd say it's great for making eyeliner stay, but I couldn't see a huge difference in the eyeshadows just yet, it is a tiny bit darker though. I will probably do an updated review on a different eyeshadow look and see if that makes any difference.

Let me know if you've tried it, or if anyone could recommend me a good affordable eye primer that would be awesome!

P.S: On my eyes I'm wearing colours from a natural Nyx Palette, Milani Liquid Eyeliner & Benefit Bad Gal Lash. Please excuse my horrible eyebrows too!

Asos Purchases

Just a quick little post as I haven't had much time lately between trying to get fit and healthy to working and  just being busy in general. I did do a little bit of online shopping yesterday though and just wanted to show you some things I bought  that I'm waiting for and I'm just a little bit too excited.
I bought all items from the ASOS clearance section, which by the way is amazing everything is such a great price and the even better part about ASOS? Free Shipping! I could have spent a lot more money but I settle for a few pieces that I 'need' (yeah right), anyway here's what I got.

So, I only ordered bottoms because I honestly don't have many of them and with spring/summer coming up I wanted some nice light colourful clothes just to wear with basic/vintage t-shirts. The watch was an add on at the end I saw it in the clearance and just had to have it, there is something about the colour of it that I really liked. Can't wait for everything to arrive, I'm currently waiting on three packages in the mail getting a little bit impatient ha ha.

What have you bought recently?
