Australis "Nudist" Palette Swatches/Review
I bought this little palette from Target a few weeks ago. I am a big fan of Australis products, they are always on trend and very inexpensive. By now I think most cosmetics companies have bought out a natural eyeshadow palette inspired by the UD Naked Palette. This palette comes with 8 neutral shadows. There was no tester for this product in store so I didn't really know what the colour pay off would be like before I decided to buy it but for the price you can't complain. The swatches don't really do the colours justice.
Cost: $10-$12.
Colour pay off: The first 3 colours in this palette are very chalky and similar in colour and texture. The last 5 colours have great colour pay off, they also have a buttery feel to them unlike the first 3 (my favourite is the second last shadow).
Packaging: I like that this is really sleek and compact although I do not like the brush that it comes with.
Where to buy: Kmart, Target, Big W etc.
Wear time: I used a primer (UD Primer Potion) under these shadows and they lasted around 6-7 hours.
The only fault in the palette (apart form the first 3 colours) is the fact is has no matte shades. They are all shimmery. For me, I like a matte shade to use in my crease so I wouldn't be able to just use this one palette for a look.
All in all this is a great little drugstore palette.
Would you wear these shadows?

Face Of Australia Lip Crayons
I've seen a lot of hype surrounding these lip crayons lately, so I decided to pick some up. I have never tried a lip crayon product so I was really interested to see what they would be like. I first thought after swatching them they would have no colour payoff and would only add a subtle tint to my lips but I was completely wrong. These are fantastic, they are extremely easy to apply and glide straight on. I like to apply a lot to get a richer colour - but of course you can use less for a more sheer look.
These lasted a couple of hours, and didn't dry out my lips at all - something I've had a huge problem with lately. Although I would probably recommend exfoliating your lips before using these though, as I found they did show up the dry spots. One of my favourite things about these crayons is that they come with wind up packaging which is fantastic for people like me who despise sharpening products. I'm also really fond of the outer packaging, I think it's simple and cute and I love the little pictures on them.
These come in a pack of three for around $14.00, which is a really great price for three products. I believe these are limited editions but hopefully FOA will realise how popular they are and bring out a full permanent range of them. I can't choose a favourite shade I actually quite like wearing them all.
Have you tried these? What's your favourite shade?

Lust Have It June!
So It's probably a bit late but I didn't actually receive this until the last week of June, I noticed a few others also experienced this as well - probably due to the public holidays etc.
The products included in the June box included:
1. LonVitalite – 24K Active Golden Yulan Oil Facial Mask RRP $59.00
2. LonVitalite – 24K Active Gold Full Eye Mask RRP $45.00
3. Batiste – Blush Dry Shampoo RRP $9.95 for 150 ml
4. Bloom – Glitter Eyeliner RRP $14.95 full size
5. Marc Jacobs – Daisy Eau So Fresh RRP $115 for 75 ml
6. Marc Jacobs – Daisy RRP $90 for 50 ml
As you can see it was a pretty decent mix up of products I especially liked the perfume samples. I already own the full size of Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh so it's good to have something for my bag but also I love the smell of the original Daisy so I was happy to get that as well. I really enjoy getting perfume samples, as it's nice to try it before you go and buy the big expensive bottle. As for the face masks I will probably use them but won't be buying the full size for that price when I'm so in love with my Lush fresh face masks. The two products I was enthusiastic about were the dry shampoo and the glitter eyeliner. I find most dry shampoos aside from the ones targeted at brunettes leave white patches in my hair, although this does have a nice smell so I might just have to use it underneath. Instead of the glitter liner I would have preferred to try the shade and line product by Bloom that others received as I really can't see myself wearing glitter on my lids, except maybe for a costume or something.
Did anyone else receive the Lust Have It in June? Was it a hit or miss?

My Winter Beauty Essentials!
It's finally getting cooler, and that means it's time to break out the products I'll be needing a lot more in the winter months. I've put together some of my favourite products that are a must have when the weather starts to cool down and your skin starts to dry out.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation & Nars Sheer Glow: I don't know about you guys but my skin can be pretty dry even in the summer time so I need foundations that aren't going to accentuate the dry patches or a foundation that makes me oily by the end of the day. I am completely in love with the finish of both of these foundations they make my complexion nice and glowy.
Benefit Posie Tint, BYS Fushia Blush & Thin Lizzy Concealer: Three other essentials, I always tend to wear pinker blushes in the winter because I'm usually a little paler and it looks nice on pale skin. The Thin Lizzy Concealer is one of my favourite concealers, I included this because it isn't cakey and doesn't dry out the skin - something I find essential in Winter.
Kate Moss Rimmel Red Lipstick & Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub: So I'm sure nearly everyone has experienced dry lips in winter and the best way to fix dry lips is with a scrub. The Lush one is my favourite and it smells and tastes delicious. I included a berry red lipstick with a satin finish which is the perfect shade in winter and the satin finish isn't too drying.
Butter London Cuticle Oil & Buxom Stay Put Eyeshadow in Mutt: This cuticle oil has been a lifesaver lately my hands have been incredibly dry and the skins been peeling. I keep this in my bag and use it whenever I need throughout the day this also smells amazing. The Buxom eyeshadow is kind of random but I love wearing it in winter and the shade is perfect for everyday as a base.
Moroccan Oil & Sukin Hand and Nail Cream: I probably don't need to explain why Moroccan Oil is included, this is a fantastic product especially when your hair becomes dry and brittle in the Winter. The Sukin hand and nail cream has also been in regular use lately it doesn't leave a greasy feeling after using it and it makes my hands soft.
Redwin Orange & Bergamot Moisturiser & Paw Paw Ointment: This moisturiser is great for Winter skin, it's not too thick so I find it's perfect for day time. Paw Paw Ointment is another one of those products that doesn't need explaining, this stuff is amazing. It's great for dry lips but also great for dry elbows.
A few more products that I find essential in winter that aren't photographed include:
Cocoa Butter
Exfoliating Gloves
Hopefully this helped you learn about some products that are great for the Winter months
What are some of your Winter essentials?
