Lust Have It July!

Sorry for the horrible photos my camera was being ridiculous.
So I know this is incredibly late but I wanted to share my thoughts on the July Lust Have It! So if you follow them on Facebook you know there was some issues with people actually getting their boxes so they actually arrived quite late which is a little annoying but something that probably doesn't matter that much. I recieved my box in the 3rd week of  July it would have been nicer in the second as this post could have gone up much sooner but oh well.

Now on to the contents:

Biolage Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner
Pure Fiji Body Lotion
Bed Head Shine Junkie Lipgloss
Avene Makeup Remover
Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub

So you've probably noticed by the above photos there wasn't much in the July Box and nearly all of the products were sample size. I admit I was kind of disappointed with this months selection. I never enjoy getting shampoo and conditioner samples because you only really get one use out of them and never get to experience what they're like.

The Pure Fiji handcream is really lovely and has a great scent unfortunately once again the size is so small it would barely do my legs. I have opted to throw this in my handbag and use it as a handcream because I really like the scent. When I saw the Bed Head lipgloss I thought it was strange because I never knew they did anything other than hair care, I really dislike the colour I got and probably won't be using this any time soon, would have loved a pink or a nude though as the formula seems quite nice.

I saw quite a few people get excited about the Avene products, I was probably most interested in the makeup remover which I still haven't gotten to try out yet. I have used the scrub though and can I say I think the name is way off, I don't think this is a gentle scrub and in fact it reminds me a a lot of the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub - I definitely wouldn't buy a full size of this product when I could get the cheaper similar version.

As you can probably tell I was pretty disappointed with this month's box and felt it didn't really have a wow factor. I love when they include makeup products so I was kind of annoyed to only get one and it ends up being something I can't use. I feel like 5 miniature samples and one full size lipgloss is a step down from what came in the May box and even the June. Hopefully Lust Have It picks up their game and we see the boxes earlier in the month with some more exciting products.

Did anyone else receive the July Lust Have It - What did you think?

Lust Have It June!

So It's probably a bit late but I didn't actually receive this until the last week of June, I noticed a few others also experienced this as well - probably due to the public holidays etc.

The products included in the June box included:
1. LonVitalite – 24K Active Golden Yulan Oil Facial Mask  RRP $59.00
2. LonVitalite – 24K Active Gold Full Eye Mask  RRP $45.00
3. Batiste – Blush Dry Shampoo  RRP $9.95 for 150 ml
4. Bloom – Glitter Eyeliner  RRP $14.95 full size
5. Marc Jacobs – Daisy Eau So Fresh  RRP $115 for 75 ml
6. Marc Jacobs – Daisy  RRP $90 for 50 ml

As you can see it was a pretty decent mix up of products I especially liked the perfume samples. I already own the full size of Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh so it's good to have something for my bag but also I love the smell of the original Daisy so I was happy to get that as well. I really enjoy getting perfume samples, as it's nice to try it before you go and buy the big expensive bottle. As for the face masks I will probably use them but won't be buying the full size for that price when I'm so in love with my Lush fresh face masks. The two products I was enthusiastic about were the dry shampoo and the glitter eyeliner. I find most dry shampoos aside from the ones targeted at brunettes leave white patches in my hair, although this does have a nice smell so I might just have to use it underneath. Instead of the glitter liner I would  have preferred to try the shade and line product by Bloom that others received as I really can't see myself wearing glitter on my lids, except maybe for a costume or something.

Did anyone else receive the Lust Have It in June? Was it a hit or miss?

Lust Have It!

This week I received my first Lust Have It sample box. Basically it is a monthly subscription which only costs $14.95 including shipping if you live in Australia. We did a post on it a little while back so it has more info if you'd like to read it here! This is the first ever Lust Have It box and we were lucky enough to be sent our first one complimentary from Nicci the creator behind the boxes. I was very impressed with the five items that were in the first box. I am yet to test out all of the products as I only got it last Wednesday, but the products I have tried have been really great.
Here is what was in the very first Lust Have It box....

The brands in the first box include, Burts Bees, Armani, Naked Tan, Mirenesse, Bio Effect, and Dermalogica. I think the part both Katelyn and I really liked about the boxes were that the products weren't tiny little packets of samples. They were either a full or travel size amount of the product, which ultimately gives you more of an idea of how the product is because you get more than one use out of it.

Out of everything I am mostly looking forward to trying out the Bio Effect EGF Serum & the Naked Tan because it smells amazing. So far I have used the Mirenesse lipgloss & the Dermalogica exfoliant which I loved. The lipgloss is such a nice shade and it makes my lips look really plump without the burning feeling of most other plumpers I have.

Let me know if you would like to see a review on a particular product from my Lust Have It box and I will do that once I have have finished the sample.

If you live in Australia and would like to try out Lust Have It go to Lust Have It. You can get a monthly or yearly subscription, which I highly recommend. I am really excited to get my next months box.

Look for less: Emma Stone

So we all know colour blocking has been seen everywhere lately, I've seen some good and some not so good. I didn't think I'd ever like the combination of red and pinks but Emma Stone really pulls this off. I absolutely love the combination with her red hair and coral lips, it's such a polished look especially with the nude heels.  So I found a couple of combinations for obviously much cheaper, I wish we could all afford a pair of Louboutins!  Anyway here it is, the look for less!

Lust Have It

Okay, so you've probably heard about companies joining up with cosmetics companies to bring you samples to your door each month. Well hold on to your hats, because it's finally happening in Australia, Lust Have It is the very first one to be launching and you can sign up here. It begins in July so you can sign up for your first box and it will arrive in August. It will be your very own box of exclusive beauty, skin and hair care products sent right to your door.

We are so excited about this, Lust Have It boxes will have brands such as, Burts Bees, Dermalogica, Kerastase, Lancome, Mirenesse, Naked Tan, Pure Fiji, L'Oreal and Urban Rituelle all fantastic brands and we're especially excited for Burts Bees and Demalogica - YAY. So you're probably thinking this sounds great but why would you pay money for sachet samples that you can go and get from your beautician, well you're not. The samples will be of a decent size just like a mini version, or travel version of the product and maybe even some of full size. For brands that only offer their samples in sachets you will get several instead to make up for it. The boxes are only $14.95 a month including postage and you can pay for it monthly or subscribe for one year.

Another really cool part about Lust boxes, is that when you purchase a box you earn points which you can choose to spend on full size products of the samples that you loved in the online store. Honestly this is such a great concept and anyone is available to sign up to Lust Have It so I suggest you all do, or at least check it out because they are doing a $500 ultimate beauty prize pack to one of the lucky people that signs up to the mailing list. The lovely founder of this brilliant idea, Nicci has assured us that they have allocated a decent amount of boxes that will be available to buy, but if you miss out there won't be any more chances to get that box so I'd be sure to get in quick and sign up here.

Who else is super excited about this, I know we are both really looking forward to getting our first boxes and are looking forward to the surprise of seeing what's inside. However here is little spoiler for all of you dying to know what's inside, we have been told there will be a Dermalogica sample in the first months box and coming in one of the months after there will be a full size polish valued at $19.95 so you're already getting products worth more than the price you're paying, perfect!

So for all of you lovely people who are reading this, I'd love for you to check out the Lust Have It website and sign up, this is seriously an opportunity you don't want to miss. They also have a Facebook  which you should check out. Let's help spread the word about Lust Have It boxes!

Who is looking forward to this idea? Has anyone signed up for the mailing list yet?
Let us know! Also if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
P.S We also decided to create a FB for our blog as it's easier than giving out our personals so we'd love if you could give it a like, you can find us here
